The Opportunity

Investment Banking Analyst / Associate

This is a full-time position based in our El Segundo, CA office, offering a hybrid work arrangement. We are seeking talented individuals at either the Analyst or Associate level. In this role, you will be a critical part of our deal teams, providing essential support and contributing directly to the success of our M&A advisory engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Conducting in-depth financial analysis, including financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence.
  • Performing comprehensive market and industry research to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Preparing compelling client presentations and other transaction-related materials.
  • Assisting senior leaders in all phases of M&A transactions, from origination to closing.
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams and external clients to ensure seamless project execution.

Application Requirements (Minimum Skills/Experience/Qualifications)

  • Strong Analytical Skills: Practical experience in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Basic Knowledge of M&A: Fundamental understanding of M&A transactions and corporate finance.
  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience: Prior experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, or related fields is highly desirable.
  • Certifications: CFA, MBA, or other relevant qualifications.
  • Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English is strongly preferred (not mandatory but advantageous for cross-border operations).
